Lovely long blacks with a real caffein hit and some depth of body to them served in a cute and bustling bakery on a Sunday. We also shared a lemon curd almond cake which was moist and avoided being overly sweet. Service was really pleasant despite it being incredibly busy and staff were very friendly.
Food was delicious and the staff is super friendly.
A charming and cosy spot, though quite crowded—it was challenging to find a free table. The drinks, both tea and coffee, were underwhelming, but the desserts made up for it with their quality and taste. The staff was polite and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. A plus for being dog-friendly, but the experience was somewhat mixed overall.
We saw this beautiful cosy small cafe and wanted coffee. The weather was so cold and so we entered. It was packed, but while waiting in line to order, a table was available. There's no need to say that not only we had coffee but couldn't choose which dessert to take the variety they had. Finally we decided on a carot cake and a chocolate decadent cake but then they suggested that if we wanted to try anything savoury. Of course, we couldn't resist and had a caramelised onion and ham tart and potato salad. What can I say, cosy warm lovely service and amazingly tasteful things to eat. Will go there every time
I like the lunch they serve up in this place, some of the freshest and nutritious lunches in greenwich! All for 11 which I think is very reasonable.I love the boneless thighs with a choice of salads and grains. Clean healthy food in a lovely setting. Perfect for after the gym! I’ve been told the carrot cake is insanely good too. This time I ate in, dog friendly too, the staff gave my dog a little dish of water too.We both left happy and will be back!
I recently visited Peyton and Byrne in Greenwich and had such a great experience. The cafe is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home. I tried their sausage roll – honestly one of the best I’ve ever had – perfectly flaky and full of flavor. I also had a slice of their carrot cake, which was incredibly moist and delicious. If you’re in the area and looking for a quality coffee shop with great food and a warm vibe, I’d definitely recommend stopping by Peyton and Byrne.
What a cozy place for coffee, pastries, minced pies and cake slices. I had a cup of Americano which is simple and bold. The real star, though, was the blueberry muffin—so fluffy and soft, it practically melts in your mouth.
We ate breakfast at Peyton and Byrne when we were staying in Greenwich in January this year and we couldn't recommend it more. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, the scones were to die for, the best I've tasted so far. The coffees were nice although I would have loved to have oat milk as a non dairy alternative and only could get almond. Otherwise, service was great and friendly, the people sitting beside us were so nice as well ! We had a wonderful experience overall !
